Nina Dobrev: Best Winged Liner

We love the way Nina Dobrev took her metallic smoky eye to the next level with a stroke of winged liner on her upper lids. A smudge of silver shimmer rounded out the look, highlighting her lower lash line and brow bone—the perfect compliment to her platinum and diamond Neil Lane jewels.

Christina Hendricks: Best Metallic Shadow

Makeup artist Vanessa Scali created Christina Hendricks’s effortlessly chic look complete with “champagne-nude metallic eyes, pink milk-maid cheeks and a siren mouth.” Using Dior products, Scali prepped Hendrick’s undereyes with Skinflash in Roseglow #1 before washing Color Eye Shadow in Nude Luminescence from the lashline to the crease and fanning out to the browbone. “To define and elongate the lashline, I used Dior Show Liner Waterproof in Carbon. It’s intensely pigmented, glides on smooth but seriously stays put.”

Best Clean Skin Gwyneth Paltrow’s makeup artist, Kate Lee used her show-stopping Emilio Pucci gown as inspiration when creating her fresh-faced look, “It was very fashion forward, with a nod to the 30s. I wanted her youthful and radiant, but with an edge.” After prepping Paltrow’s skin with Chanel Beauté Initiale Eye Crème, Lee smoothed on Chanel Perfection Lumiere foundation with a Beauty Blender sponge to create a poreless canvas. Lee used By Terry Liquid Blush as a highlighter to achieve “a radiant apricot shimmer” before accenting the apples of her cheeks with a flash of rosy creme blush.

Kaley Cuoco: Best Two-Toned Manicure

"[My nails] are for good luck," Cuoco told Ryan Seacrest. Manicurist Beth Fricke opted for the subdued OPI Over the Taupe, but accented the ring ringer with a coat of OPI Big Apple Red—and it must have worked! Cuoco's Big Bang Theory co-star Jim Parson's won as Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

Minka Kelly: Best Smoky Eye

Makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen used a light touch in creating Minka Kelly's diffused smoky eye. Smudgy dove gray shadow, a coat of rich black liner, and tons of lush mascara combined for a stunning but still soft finish.

Evan Rachel Wood: Best Short Style

There's not one way to rock a pixie. Just ask Evan Rachel Wood, who's worn hers swept-back, slicked-down, and now in retro fingerwaves. After wetting and shaping the waves with Frederic Fekkai Coiff Super Sculpt Styling Gel, hairstylist Mara Roszak went old school: "I let the hair dry under a hood for about twenty minutes," she said.

Julie Bowen: Sleekest Ponytail

How best to play-up a plunging neckline? As Julie Bowen sees it, a sleek side ponytail. Her version is extra-tight, ultra-low and downright sexy. (Just like her Oscar de la Renta gown!)

Cat Deeley: Beachiest Waves

Cat Deeley's windswept waves—courtesy of hairstylist Ben Skirven— were the perfect accessory for her glittery Monique Lhuillier gown. The breezy, piecey texture aptly highlighted the dimensional tones—from buttery blond to toffee brown— in her hair.

Lea Michele: Best Bangs

Although Michele's hair is sleek and precise, hairstylist Mark Townsend wanted to be sure it still had plenty of body. A creamy dollop of Dove Body and Lift Mousse built the foundation for a bouncy blowout, but Townsend had one other trick up his sleeve. "I always use Spornette mixed bristle brushes to get tons of volume in the hair," he added.
